Maartin Rossouw was born and raised in South Africa. He earned his law degree at Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg in 1983 and served on the South African Police force before coming to the United States. He has worked in insurance and retirement planning since 1991, including ten years as a manager at Prudential Financial, where he led agents across life insurance, long-term care and annuities.

He moved to Riverside in 2002. Today he is the president of MJR Financial & Insurance Services, with an office at 3576 Arlington Ave in Riverside. His focus has stayed the same for decades: keep clients’ money safe, build a predictable income they can’t outlive, and keep that income tax-efficient.

How Does Maartin Serve Riverside Beyond His Practice?

Maartin is a past president of the City of Riverside Planning Commission, and he served 13 years as president of the Arlington Business Partnership, a Riverside business association.
